First hand experience Rating (5) Date: 2005-02-26 I have just started to play bass guitar, and found "Xtreme Bass" really great. You have a teacher who talks you through the whole book on cd. Many fantastic tips are given, and the lessons focus on one particular thing until you build up to playing snippets of other artists. Overall a brilliant and helpful book.

I had never played a musical instrument before but this book taught me almost everything I needed to know about how to play the bass. This book contains lots of easy to play activites that really help you play. I deeply reccomend that you buy this book if you're thinking of playing the bass guitar!
