This book contains some good descriptions of very few techniques and is more geared towards recommending the world jiu jitsu federation to the reader rather than expounding the principles behind jiu jitsu. The false impression is given that jiu jitsu is a martial art similar to a cross between judo and karate but this isn't the case. Having said that Robert Clark's other books on the jiu jitsu syllabus are more up to scratch for jitsukas than this short treatise.

This book is very basic. There needs to be more pictures, to allow people to see how the move was executed.
