This was recommended to me by a friend who had been on a course run by Gemma Fox (who also writes and teaches as Sue Welfare) - I don't usually read this kind of book but it was great fun. It was very funny in parts and I thought the characters were very well drawn. I'm now going to read Hot Pursuit and will look forward her the next one coming out.

A book I too bought for my holiday read only to end up starting it and finishing it before I've even got my case down from the loft. Believable villain (we've all met one of them... so we cheer extra loud when he gets his come-uppance... hope I haven't spoiled that for anyone!) and a sweet central character with human flaws that we can relate to. Not forgetting the nice guy I really wanted for myself. I'm no expert - just an ordinary bird who likes books but this did it for me - sorry to get to the end of it, sort of book and now have to find something else as good to take to sunny Spain with me. Ho...hum!

I bought this to take on holiday - started it before I left and ended up reading it cover to cover in a couple of sittings! I've given it to a friend to take now. It's a good funny read, ideal for holiday. Good characters.
