Only buy this book if you are into Feng Shui, it has no real methodology on how to clear the clutter. A typical advice is "Do not store anything under your bed since this can cause disturbed sleep and may disrupt you love life". This book was clearly not for me. I recommend a book by Sandra Feldon instead she gives good advise on how to really unclutter your life without any "religion".

This is the most practical and informative book on clutter-clearing that I have read to date. I followed the advice given and threw out six bin bags of junk, re-organized my office and have felt so much more energetic since. I didn't realise how used I had become to living with things that didn't work or I didn't even like, and how simple it could be to create an uplifting atmosphere - I particularly liked the space clearing techniques and the colour photographs and diagrams for every area of the home. Brilliant value.

This book was a real eye-opener for me. It was really easy to follow and although it all seems logical, I was a bit sceptical about its claims. However, I started with my office - purging old files, piles of papers and clearing my desk. The result is great - I am a lot less stressed at work, don't waste time looking for things and generally seeem to be getting a lot more done. I have now started working through my home and I am really pleased with the results.I reckon this is a book well worth buying - a great push into taking action which has given me a real boost.

I found this book a really useful guide to sorting out my home - and my life. It is written in an open and straightforward style and is well illustrated. Its true benefit is that it gives lots of good advice over and above the obvious instructions of just throwing stuff out. As well as recommending ways of improving storage, which are very practical, I found the information on energising through 'space clearing' and Feng Shui 'cures' really helpful. I have used this book as a guide to go through each room of my house in turn. In all the rooms I have tackled I now feel more relaxed and happier - uplifted somehow. I would recommend the book to anyone who wants more energy or to bring about change in their life.

I had looked forward to this book being published for several months. However, when it arrived, I was disappointed. The main problem with it is that it tries to cover far too much ground, in what is a fairly slim volume. Feng Shui, aromatherapy, storage solutions, and crystals are all mentioned, but only in a very lightweight way. I have read Karen Kingston and Don Aslett's books on this subject and would say that they are both much more entertaining, although very different to each other in style.
