What a brilliant book this is! A truly fascinating read. I recommend this to anyone who's interested in ghost hunting or ghosts in general. I first came across Jason Karl after seeing "Most Haunted" on Living tv, and having enjoyed the show so much I decided to investigate the field of ghosts etc. a little more.
The book is filled with information, and goes into detail about the different stages of ghost manifeastation, the various different types of ghost (some of which I had never heard of). As well as going through various haunted locations throughout the country.
It has definitely been written by somenone who's been there, and knows what he's talking about. Nice one Jason!!

I pre-ordered my copy from Amazon and from the day it arrived I was gripped by this book. Jason Karl shot to many peoples attention during LivingTV's Most Haunteds first series as the show's ghost hunting expert, with his vast knowledge and easy to understand explanations on the show I was sure the book would not let me down, and it didnt. An amazing book filled with pages of lovely glossy colour pictures and an array of in depth but understandable information and stories on the paranormal world. A book for every wannabe ghost hunter or lover of the paranormal, also an ideal book for an new starters to this captivating subject. The book also boasts a list of places to stay and visit along with information on how to join the Ghost Research Foundation International (GRFI). Over all a fantastic book for any fans of the Paranormal and/or Jason Karl.

This book is excellent and is an mix between information on the nature of ghosts and hauntings and a narrative about specific sites. It is a pleasure to read a book like this which is "UK centric", the content of which is boosted by the exceptional standard of layout and illustration. This is a "deluxe" book and will grace any reference shelf or coffee table. You will pick it up again and again. Buy it.

I saw jason karl on most haunted and decided to purchase this book.It's not just about ghost stories,it tells you what you will need to hunt for ghosts,the 4 stages of ghost manifestation,the different type of ghosts and the best places to stay if you want to experience ghostly happinings.
This book was an excellent read.

I decided to purchase this book after seeing Jason Karl's interesting cool-headed and often skeptical approach to the paranormal in the television series "Most Haunted". I have found it an excellent in-depth introduction for anyone wishing to expand their knowledge on Ghosts and other paranormal instances, even if you don't believe in the existence of paranormal phenomena you will still find it very informative. It is not subjectively biased like many books in this genre but an objective account of the experiences Jason Karl has had in his 12 years of paranormal investigation, with fascinating details of many famous and not so famous locations around the country.
The book is very well written, with all terms being clearly explained and lots of good advice for how to structure personal investigations.
