This is very much a book for those with an extensive knowledge and experience of the Tarot. Anyone just starting out on the road to discovery would be very confused and disheartened if they were to pick up this book early in their travels. It focusses totally upon the Major Arcana and is devoted to exploring the relationship between the Tarot and the Qabalah, is not concerned with divination but with depth work on spiritual development. The exercises are intense and demanding, the tone serious. For those who have many years of work behind them and a working knowledge of the Tree of Life then this is a thought-provoking and useful addition to the bookshelf.
