"CAE Testbuilder" is an extraordinary book which will set the benchmark for future publications for examination practice. As well as providing relevant, stimulating and authentic exam practice material, the tasks that accompany the texts allow students maximum work in terms of skills development, and give the students a clear understanding of what will be required for them to pass the Advanced Exam. However, where this book is light years ahead of others is in the guidance it provides when analysing the reasons for answers given. The 'key and explanation' appendix enables students to see and learn from their own errors, providing a crucial link between testing and teaching. The benefits for both learners and teachers are obvious.
One can only hope that there will be more books of this quality published for other exams in future.
