Hi!Well, I got it a few weeks ago.
I must say that I am very happy with it. In fact it is the object of most of my attention right now. I'll do the CSA in one month.
What I think is the BEST element of the book (specially if you have no US experience) are the PATIENT NOTES given as examples. You can view the contents on-line (amazon, etc.). So, to every chapter there are many examples how the patient note should be written. For example, when explaining family backround, there comes a "grey box" with the end result of the note. So you get the real feeling of what you will have to write on the actual exam.
There is a good list of common abreviations.
The book covers all the areas requiered to complete a good history and physical... even a little bit more (desciptions on genital examionations, etc.), but it is clearly marked when there's something you won't be able to do on the CSA
In summary; I'd say it is a must for every one of us preparing to the CSA. If you don't have any clinical experience at all, then I think that reading Bates or Mosby's guide (though both big books) are required.
I'll be able to say my final words after passing the test... I'll let you know, cross your fingers for me!!.
Good luck
