I would recommend this book to any studant, any teacher, or anyone who cares education. This concise book can provide a great perspective on school, an intitution inwhich so many people spend so much time. But I must critisise some of the prioties of the authors. The book is too centred on Britian to warrant its title. A much larger problem is the fact that it devouts merely two sentances to the infuence of econonmics in education, furthermore, those sentances critisise that influence without any expolation of the topic. But on the whole I walked away from this book a better man.
