Another Funny, Interesting Insight

This book once again, following on from Robin Barratt's Doing the Doors, gives most people an insight into a world they will not encounter. Far from being one of the books that is only interesting to those that have worked in a similar field Confessions of a Doorman is both accessible and engaging. Whilst perhaps not up to the quality of his first book this follow up with its brutal honesty regarding both the events and the author's feelings make it hard to put down. For those that have worked in the security industry this book is a must read if only to draw parallels at some of the ideas and situations expressed in the book. Barratt alongside Geoff Thompson is probably the most readable author in the field. If you have any interest in this genre make sure you pick up this and the author's debut.

I think this is the best book on Bouncing written by a Bouncer since Geoff Thompson's "watch my back".

Really interesting. The author writes in an honest and open style and there is a lot to learn about the lifestlye and techniques of thr life a Doorman.

I really recommend this book, it is informative, funny and a great read, espcially for the holidays.
