Couldn't put it down Rating (5) Date: 2007-07-03 This is a terrific novel. Very fast-paced, but not formulaic. I loved the characters and the setting. I've never been to these places but it was very believable to me. I would read anything by her.

After a tight, action-packed buildup, this book comes to a conclusion at a lighthouse as a Florida hurricane approaches. Lounge lizards, strippers, straying preachers, apocalyptic weather, all the elements of the Florida scene.
