Good to have in addition with "Surgery Recall." Rating (4) Date: 2010-09-05 Plenty of extra information. NOT a replacement for the first book. This one just has lots of specific Q and A with plenty of probabilities.

The first time I saw this book was during my observership rotation.I remembered when a surgery resident showed me this book and the advantages of having it. I realized it was the most appropriate moment to buy it. It served me a lot during my rotation, I responded quickly and with confidence to all the questions from the attendings. It just not also shows the basic but the complex surgical questions and clinical scenarios the residents face everyday. I highly recommend this book for any student or resident who wants to improve their surgical knowledge and diagnosis. Alejandro

Caveat for med students Rating (4) Date: 2009-06-16 3 out of 3 customers found this reveiw helpful As a fresh 3rd year med student starting his first rotation, which happened to be surgery, I quickly realized this book is leaps and bounds ahead of what we need to know. Unfortunately, the comments on the back of the book make it seem suitable for medical students but this book is clearly for surgical interns/residents.
