The Desiderata of Happiness is a collection of poems that will touch your life. I have found in times of happiness, sorrow and joy a poem for every emotion of life within this little book. It is a book that can be looked at throughout your life and sometimes the meaning of the poem will change with your changing life, but is still of relevance. Max Ehrmann was a forward thinker beyond his generation, his poems echoed his feelings of social conscience. I would reccommend this book as a gift for someone who is going through emotional turmoil or a gift between friends or lovers.
