The Straightforward Guides are a series of little books published by Straightforward Publishing and which tend to deal with consumer rights and legal rights and basic awareness for the layperson.

Some of them are quite useful of but this book, which runs to 103 pages, tries to do too much in too little space and the result is that you really don't find are very much about anything.

It attempts to deal with a wide range of types of action including including criminal cases as well as a range of civil matters.

I would say that the book is not really useful for somebody seriously contemplating embarking on a legal action against their bank in the County Court.
