although not the best book by far, de cruz offers an adequate expanse of reading material for the law student. his style is easy to read for many, and this book is the choice of many to sttudy comparative law. at bcuc, this is our preferred text as it covers much of the syllabus, although, this book does not provide specifics in many areas, hence the reason, (as many law students know) for a larger reading list.
