Fabulous Value For Money!
Rating (5)

I bought this book in haste on the way to the tribunal. It's great value for money, containing in one single and succinct volume absolutely everything you need for the average case.

I have binned my Butterworth's Handbook, and I will be buying this every year instead in the future.

If you have only buy one book on employment law, make it this one!

This is an excellent, comprehensive text for all those representing parties in the employment tribunal or in the civil courts. A wealth of expertise takes you through all the practice and procedure you need to know in one volume. Text is clearly laid out, with helpful summaries and checklists. The volume is also well indexed and easy to navigate - ideal for those needing to find the answer to their problem quickly.

The most useful book I have bought all year!

I saw this book in Hammicks when it was their Book of the Month, and later purchased it online, because I was sick of lugging volumes of Harvey and the Butterworth's Handbook around with me. I have not regretted my decision to buy it.

The book is pretty much unique in the area for containing all the information you need in the tribunal in one single albeit sizable volume. This means that you have at your fingertips all the key legislation and comment from leading practitioners. I think it's a similar price to the Butterworth's Handbook, yet it contains so much more. It also misses out some of the less useful material from the Handbook - I seldom looked at this. It's also easy to find answers to the point you're looking for and very easy to navigate. The authors are all well-known "names", and John Bowers QC in particular, is one of the legends of employment law. I would recommend this book to everyone!
