This is one of the few 'everything in one' books that really lives upto its name. A book that starts from the basics of Vector Spaces and Linear Algebra going all the way till optimization techniques. Each chapter is neatly explained, with nice matlab programs that bridges the gap between the math and the implementation. Every signal processing person would be better off with this 'kind of encyclopedia' book.
