This book is an excellent read for anybody who wants to delve into theirr computer that little bit further. Covering most things that can and do go wrong with your computer in easy to follow jargon. It even touches on subjects like the bios and registry, the book also has 100 tips on how to make your computer look and feel better. An excellent book.

I work in a Library and lots of computer books pass through my hands..... But this is the first time I have actually read one from cover to cover without glazing over and falling asleep!!!Ideal for people who are comfortable with using a PC and find it very frustrating when they have to call in the repair person if the least little thing goes wrong with it.. There's lots of tools that come with Windows that you would never go looking for... Dont know who this Dr Watson is that keeps giving you error messages........read page 119-121.....im now very familiar with him!!!! The tone of the book was spot on, precise information in an easily read format without lots of technical jargon...... Lots of information on how to try and sort out things yourself without getting into too much trouble....... Tricks and tips for using MS Word that even after using it for 8 yrs I didnt realise exsisted....!!! Ive just spent an hour playing on the driving game I didnt even realise was hidden away in Excel 2000 !!! So here I am on Amazon buying my own copy as I doubt I would be willing to return the Library copy!!!
