I am a university student studying Psychology. Up until I got this book, I didn't really have much of an idea about what to do with SPSS and how to interpret the output. However, this book makes it all very clear and easy to understand. It explains what types of statistical tests there are and in what circumstances you would need to carry them out, and also explains how to further analyse your data. Now I feel more at ease using SPSS knowing that I have this book to hand, and also knowing that I have something reliable to revise from. Definitely reccommended.

SPSS in a nutshell. FANTASTIC!

I have been using SPSS for two months now, as part of a university course, but with limited success. That is, until now!
SPSS Explained is insightful, yet an easy to follow text.
Rarely do you encounter such an authoratitive book on a subject as complex as SPSS. I found the 'essential' sections really helpful in support of my work.

I was impressed at the simplicity in which the information was explained given the complexity of the package.

I will be recommending this to my classmates and have already instructed my tutor to advise others of this text.

In short, buy this book if you are an SPSS user!
