First: Forget the cover, forget the title. They were a poor, poor choice from Tokyopop. Having said this, this manga is quite nice. I felt that I was risking my money on this, but what the hell, I ordered it. The art is real and expressive (forget the cover remember?), the characters funny and belivable and then theres the story: If you only buy this volume, you will have a book with 3 independent stories, with a begining and ending. Theres no such thing here like "oh, the story is incomplete, now I have to buy another, then another...". Not here. I believe the following volumes might follow this formula, and that makes a very loose reading experience. No pressures. You will only buy the next volume, if you like this one, and want to keep on.
Second: Remember M. Night Shyamalan "The Sixth Sense" movie? This is it! Only in manga style, a normal school boy, helping some lost souls, and still trying to be a normal school boy... straight normal sch... somehere in there a boy x boy relation apears -- but not to be the center of the plot, but more as a small side effect of it, an unexpected naive relationship, which is nice, because the ghostbusting deal is really well done here, and deserves to be explored as is, not sidetracked. Small note, I'm a manga reader that likes action, drama, shoujo, shounen ai, and dislikes yaoi and hentai.
Conclusion: There are 3 stories in here. Personaly, I didnt like the last one, small story, with diferent chars, diferent plot. This is a well bought book, specially if you dont intend or have money to buy the whole collection. I give it 4 stars, for beeing a great manga.

A touching and endearing read!

I read this only a few hours ago and I am already in love with it. The art work at first is a little edgy but I think the author soon eases into drawing smoothly, which was really nice. The storylines are really great; some words spoken are truly priceless and I have to admit, reading this book did me good because I can't stop thinking about the valuable messages in it.

Mitsuo and Hanumura's (sp?) relationship (shonen-ai) is very heartwarming and it made me chuckle a lot. Things get very heated at times, but not in an overly passionate way, just a very subtle which personally for me makes it more effective. My favourite was the mini-story at the end name 'Watermelon and Me', where Mitsuo is surprised by a magic fruit.

I give this 5 stars and would recommend it to manga-lovers.

it's okay

Mitsuo Shiozu is a lonely high student that can see spirit and can talk to them. He fall in love with another high school student name Hasanuma. That is all I am going to say so if you want to know more than read it for yourself. =P

OMG you have to read this book if you like manga you'll love this book, however a degree of maturity may be required to apprsiate some of the awkward moments between mitsuo and hasunuma

I am a fan of shounen-ai, and when I saw this, I just HAD to buy it. I was half expecting something along the lines of Gravitation, but with a less realistic storyline, as well as poor artwork judging from the front cover. Boy, was I wrong!
This book is filled with BEAUTIFUL images and character designs, and it is also probably the first manga ever that actually had me laughing out loud!
The character's are amazingly easy to love, as well as an engaging storyline that won't have you getting tired. And I mean that, the book is so PACKED! The story itself is set out so that you get a lot more going on in a single page then you could ever get in the WHOLE of some other manga I've read, for example, X/1999? (X/1999 - Great story, very slow paced though.)
As well as THAT there are the bonus stories, which have some super funny (and random) quotes such as "I want to eat you." @_@
But as I said, it may take you a great deal more TIME to read this then other manga due to the amount of things going on,but you won't want to put it down for a second! An excellant manga all round!
