Avoiding the actual story, DearS is a great romantic comedy thats (excuse the lame pun), out of this world. Ren is a complete alien to society, mans sexual desires, or even how to clean the apartment. Add this to a guy who REALLY doesn't want an alien living with him, and a teacher so horny she shouldn't be allowed anywhere near children, and you've got one very, very funny story. After reading it, it kind of reminded me of The Beautiful and the Ugly World (Kono Minikuku mo -something- Sekai) in terms of, only just too rude for minors, comedy and familiar situations that are slightly exagerated for comedy reasons. Very good, but there are better out there. I haven't looked for it on Amazon yet, but if you can find Kono Minikuku mo -whatever- Sekai, then I highly recommend that. If not, this is only just, not quite as good.

Takeya hates the DearS and wants nothing to with them - he has got enough bad luck as it is.An announcement happens that proves how bad his luck is - a DearS is going to be coming to his school for a while and he hates them like mad. OK he can live with that (for the now) but can he stand it when : 1.A DearS called Ren ends up in his posession 2.The DearS want Ren back 3.Ren has not the slightest clue about social life 4.Rens curiosity takes her where Takeya does not want her. An enjoyable book
