Toothpaste for Dinner is hilarious providing you have a slightly edgy sense of humour. If you hate office work, people who talk loudly on their mobiles, and people who claim to like certain types of music just because they want to look good, then this is for you. But if you love going to work, don't like making fun of others and have a generally optimistic view of life, then you might not enjoy it so much.

Be assured though, that it far outdoes the other types of books in this field, surpassing Dilbert in humour, originality and variety. The drawings are very crude and childish though, but thats not the point - he's trying to make them funny, not pretty.

It's a good value book too, with about twice the amount of pages/drawings that you tend to get in books such as The Bunny Suicides. And a nice shiny cover!

Still, its best to check out the website first, just to make sure this is your kind of thing. But be assured that the cartoons in this book are from the earlier days of the website and are quite a bit funnier than the ones Drew is currently posting, so check out the older drawings. Enjoy!
