Not as good as the great redwall feast

Great illustrations (they're so cute!), and a great visual interpretation of the abbey itself, but has a soppy storyline which lacks the charm of the rhymes in the Great Redwall Feast.

A Redwall Winter's Tale is probably the best picture book I have ever read although it does not continue in the Redwall theme of heroes and villains which I think would disappoint some people including my self. But it would be very good as a bedtime story for children younger than my self. Overall I think A Redwall Winter's Tale is good if it is not taken as part of the Redwall series because it would disappoint people who have the other books in the series.
